Previous crusher, concentrator, mobile equipment experiences preferred Description MAIN PURPOSE : Operates loaders, crushing equipment, dust collectors, conveyors, moves and loads rail cars, during operation. Main Responsibilities/Activities Operates crushing system or loads rail cars with concentrate, practices good housekeeping Operates DCS system to start, stop, monitor, and adjust equipment for proper operation of the crushing equipment Uses shovels, hoses, slings, hand tools, to clean areas and performs minor maintenance Operates end loaders, forklifts, rail car mover, overhead cranes, rock breaker, and pick-up trucks Performs routine maintenance, including lubrication, of the crusher system and mobile equipment and operates within environmental permits Completes daily Pre-Task Hazard Assessments, daily inspects work area and corrects any potential hazards Inspects fire extinguishers, safety showers, and emergency lighting for proper operation Cleans working, storage and other areas as required May be required to train or assist in training of others Performs other duties as assigned Education, Qualifications And Experience Previous crusher, concentrator, mobile equipment experiences preferred Key Personal Competencies Action Oriented - Initiates timely action to address important issues.
